Louise Hobson is an independent curator & producer based in Cardiff, Wales.

Currently: In residence at Flux Factory with Case Studios as part of the project 7 Common, examining artistic strategies within food politics, societal culture and commuting along the route of the 7 Train ////// Litmus Curator (freelance) at Oriel Davies Gallery – Litmus is an exhibition and development programme offering curatorial and practical support for early career artists in Wales and the Welsh Borders to research, develop and present new work at Oriel Davies (March 2017 – March 2018) ////// St Fagans Residency, supporting Sean Edwards in research activities (May 2017 – March 2018).

Recently: Roman Štětina, Shave and a haircut – two bits, curatorial commission for Cardiff Contemporary (21 Oct – 19 November 2016) // hosting the visit/residency of New York based artist/curator Will Owen, as part of the WAI Wales Curatorial Visits (October 2016) // Catherine Biocca, Cornelia Baltes, Rosalie Schweiker at Mission Gallery, Swansea (19 March – 9 April 2016) // Curatorial Residency with Flux Factory and Residency Unlimited, New York (February 2015) // the Jane Phillips Award Curatorial Residency (2015/2016) // Yellow Back Books: a temporary artist book bookshop in Cardiff in collaboration with Becca Thomas and Samuel Hasler (November 2015 – ongoing) // Breakfast Club, initiated as a weekly communal breakfast with Warp, at g39 (2014 – ongoing).
